Computer Basics short course is designed for everyone with little or no computing experience but wanting to improve their skills for work or home. This is a brand new one day format, your learning is delivered in our Technology Hub and will target these areas.
- Hardware are Software Basics: operating systems, how to navigate the system to access files and programs, use a keyboard, mouse and manage USB plug-in devices.
- Internet and Emails: Searching tips, search engines, URL structures, safe browsing, emailing how to, attachments and email safety.
- Microsoft Word: Layout, word documents and templates, opening existing documents, editing, formatting, inserting images, saving and printing.
CLASS SIZE:
Five (5) students is the maximum class size. Your safety is our priority.
TRAINER:
This course is delivered by Simon Morrison. Simon works as an Application Development and Support Analyst. He began his information technology career in 1998 and started as an IT trainer during 2004. Simon’s motivation is people, making a difference and the joy of helping others overcome their IT challenges.
