This entry-level qualification will equip you with the in-demand skills and knowledge to work in long day care centres, family day care, preschools, or kindergartens, within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. Everything you need to get started as a professional Educator.

Educators in these roles play a critical part in the social, emotional, physical, and educational wellbeing of children. You will learn how best to facilitate play, ensure the health and safety of self and children in your care, develop cultural competence, and identify and respond to risk.

COURSE DELIVERY STRUCTURE
  • 12 months maximum duration
  • 18 Units
  • Weekly class based mentoring sessions
  • 12 hours per Unit of directed home studies
  • 4 hours per Unit of research
  • To achieve this qualification you will also complete at least 120 hours of work placement arranged by ACE. This will be achieved throughout the course or end of the course.
