Description
What do you see when you close your eyes and think of the seasons? The warm, bright, sparkling light of a Summer’s day. The cold, wet drizzle and fading light of a Winter’s evening. Capture the essence of those scenes and bring them to life over two informative and relaxing workshops.
Artists use a variety of techniques, colours, tones and brush work to express the different appearance and moods of the land and sea in different seasons and weather. Using just a few easy exercises with guidance from local artist and trainer Harry Westera, you will paint simplified scenes that convey the varied feelings of Summer and Winter.
TRAINER
Artist Harry Westera has enjoyed a life long love for art and will be delivering this course. Harry is originally trained in still life and portraits in oil painting. Harry is thrilled be to passing on the wonderful knowledge and skills that others have taught him.
MATERIALS LIST
A list of materials, with an approximate cost of $30 will be given to students on enrolment.
