Make your mark in the fast-moving early childhood sector with this advanced-level course. The Diploma will prepare you for higher level leadership roles and exciting career progression.

Learn how to design, evaluate, and implement a curriculum program, using an approved learning framework. Really get involved in addressing the developmental needs, interests and experiences of young children while considering their individual differences.

Educators at this level operate within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. Your role may also involve taking responsibility for the supervision of volunteers or other staff. Elevate your potential as a supervisor, coordinator or team leader.

If you have existing experience but need to formalise your qualifications, talk to our Customer Care Team about an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) pathway.

COURSE DELIVERY STRUCTURE
  • 24 months maximum duration
  • 28 Units
  • Weekly class based mentoring sessions
  • Monthly trainer visits to your Centre
  • 12 hours per Unit of directed home studies
  • 4 hours per Unit of research
  • This course requires the support of your workplace and 240 hours of employment/job tasks, OR will be achieved throughout the course or end of the course.
