This is Cassie, one of our lovely students who recently completed a Cert III in Individual Support. Cassie quickly became an inspiration around the Lismore College and here’s why. When she started her course the barriers must have seemed huge (newborn baby, new language, new place and many more). With support from her ACE trainer, students, staff and family she has completed her qualification and has now enrolled and is studying at Uni (Nursing degree).
Yeah it is days like this that we are reminded of the true value of our Community College – it’s a game changer.
